Sound Snake with rhythmic sounds
This memory exercise starts with one person making one or more sounds that the participants repeat. One-by-one each participant adds a sound to the end of the snake and everybody repeats all the sounds from beginning to the end. This exercise also works with other sounds and rhythms, such as animal sounds for example.
Head, Shoulders, Knees, Toes
A game that warms up the body, sparkles joy and creates group focus.
Ho Tjsin Tsjak
A samurai game (and feel free to choose your own name!) which warms up the body, is joyful and unpredictable. This game requires collaboration and focus.
Passing a clap around the circle
This exercise is about passing a clap around the circle. It trains the rhythm and focus of the group and builds connection. You can replace the clap for any other sound or use music instruments. There are also many variations of this exercise that you can create as a group.
Counting to 10 as a group
This exercise is about randomly counting to 10 as a group. Anyone may start but if two people speak at the same time, you all have to start at 1 again! The exercise improves focus, connection, energy and group trust.
Counting to 10 with eyes closed
To make the previous exercise that little bit more challenging you can carry it out with everyone closing their eyes, removing visual connection from the equation!
Rumble If...
Someone in the group asks a question and you rumble if the question relates to you. Rumble if you like... etc. This can be funny, but also a deep and emotional game.
Freeze Game / Musical Statues
An energetic game where members move to the music and stop when the music stops. Develop the game by adding different calls to move slowly, fast, etc. Be creative and produce your own variation!
